Recent changes to the organisation has resulted in the creation of this critically important new role.
The Opportunity Reporting directly to the Chief Executive Officer, the Senior Fundraising, Marketing and Communications Manager is a pivotal leadership role responsible for driving fundraising growth, strengthening brand presence, and delivering integrated marketing and communications strategies. They seek a hands-on, professional leader who thrives on building meaningful donor relationships, managing high-impact campaigns, and leading a small team to achieve ambitious outcomes.
Key Challenges
* Grow and strengthen the fundraising, marketing and communications function, with an initial focus on fundraising.
* Drive long-term sustainable fundraising strategies with ambitious targets.
* Lead by example as a hands-on, involved leader who engages directly with donors, partners and events.
* Review and enhance marketing and communications to deliver measurable value.
Key Responsibilities
* Develop and implement fundraising, marketing and communication strategies aligned with Hear and Say's strategic goals.
* Drive revenue growth through major gifts, corporate partnerships, trusts, foundations and donor engagement.
* Lead and mentor the fundraising and marketing teams to deliver high-performing outcomes.
* Oversee brand management, campaigns, digital presence and media relations.
* Provide strategic advice to the CEO, Executive, Management and Board.
* Promote a culture of collaboration, innovation, accountability and continuous improvement.
About You
You will demonstrate significant experience in fundraising and marketing leadership and bring;
* A proven track record of delivering significant fundraising outcomes and securing major gifts.
* Strong strategic, commercial and business planning expertise.
* Exceptional communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
* Demonstrated ability to lead teams through change and deliver results.
* Relevant tertiary qualifications in Marketing, Business or Communications will be highly regarded
