Uniting AgeWell's Loddon Mallee North - Mildura Home Care Program supports elderly clients to live safely and independently at home for as long as possible. We offer comprehensive ageing support and services throughout the Greater Sunraysia Region, with local employment opportunities in Mildura and surrounding communities.
We are currently looking to grow our team with passionate and caring individuals in the following part-time roles:
Home Care Worker (relevant qualifications required)
Home Care Domestic Support (no formal qualifications required)

Key Responsibilities:
Both roles involve travelling between clients’ homes to provide support and care tailored to their individual needs. Responsibilities may include:
Home Care Worker
Providing personal care, including showering, grooming, and mobility assistance
Supporting clients with domestic tasks such as meal preparation and household chores
Monitoring clients’ physical, emotional, and behavioural well-being, and reporting concerns
Providing social support and transport for appointments or activities
Respecting clients' rights, choices, and cultural and spiritual needs
Home Care Domestic Support
Assisting with domestic tasks such as vacuuming, mopping, laundry, and general tidying
Preparing light meals and assisting with food storage
Maintaining hygiene standards in kitchens and bathrooms
Providing social support and transport to appointments or activities
Ensuring clients' belongings are safe, clean, and well-maintained

What We’re Looking For:
We’re looking for individuals with a passion for supporting people to live independently in their own homes. A caring, empathetic nature is essential, along with a commitment to building strong relationships with clients and their families.
Successful candidates must also have:
Reliable transport and the ability to travel between clients’ homes.
Excellent organisational skills, with a focus on maintaining safe, clean, and supportive environments for clients.
A strong understanding of the person-centred approach and community care, with dedication to delivering high standards for clients and families.
The ability to thrive in a collaborative team environment while valuing one-on-one client connections.

Mandatory Requirements:
Qualification: (Home Care Worker role only): Certificate III/IV in Individual Support or equivalent (e.g., Diploma or Bachelor of Nursing in progress).
Driver’s Licence and Vehicle: A valid Australian licence and a roadworthy vehicle with comprehensive insurance.
First Aid & CPR: Current certifications or willingness to obtain.
Working with Children Check (Employee)
National Criminal Police Record Check or NDIS Worker Screening Check
Annual Vaccinations: As per organisational policy.
