The role of an Account Manager plays a critical part in driving Defence projects and fostering strong client relationships.
This position oversees and grows a high-performing delivery team, operating with autonomy and leading a multidisciplinary team to deliver customer-focused results in alignment with strategic goals.
The ideal candidate will be a proven leader with Defence sector experience, strong stakeholder engagement skills, and a commitment to excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead project planning, coordination, and delivery in line with policies and procedures.
* Oversee project performance and ensure successful outcomes while enhancing the company's reputation.
* Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders through effective communication and delivery alignment.
* Manage financial forecasting, cost controls, and compliance.
* Partner with Talent Acquisition and People & Culture to support workforce planning, recruitment, engagement, and development.
* Identify and mitigate project risks, drive continuous improvement, and contribute to business growth and future bids.
Requirements:
* Tertiary qualifications in Engineering, Business, Project Management, or similar, or equivalent experience.
* Minimum 7 years of relevant experience.
* Strong stakeholder engagement and relationship management experience, ideally in Defence or Defence Industry.
* Background in project management or consulting.
* Security Clearance (minimum), with ability to obtain higher clearance.
