About the role
QT Perth is no Ordinary Hotel! We are on the search to recruit our dare to be different Director of Sales. Seeking an experienced and dynamic Director of Sales, who will pioneer sales strategies and account management across all market segments. Leading a small team, and reporting to the General Manager, you will be directly responsible for the hotel achieving budgeted revenue growth and maintaining above-market returns.
Key Responsibilities :
* Lead direction, leadership and management of key market strategies.
Own and exceed annual sales targets across all market segments; including corporate contracted, consortia, inbound, groups and events. Development and implementation of annual and periodic sales activity plans; guiding a small team on best practice in creating unique, objective driven activity plans & analysing outcomes. Stay abreast of the market to identify trends and opportunities whilst providing strategic advice on future sales decisions to grow revenue ahead of the market. End to end sales, maintain and develop an ongoing new business pipeline and key account management plan for managed clients. Proactively identify and act upon new business opportunities for the wider EVT – Entertainment Venture Travel Maintain a favourable working relationship with all other company employees to foster and promote a co-operative and harmonious working environment, embracing our company values of possibilities, community and empowerment.

Skills & experience
* Proven experience in a similar sales role.
Tertiary qualifications in events or hospitality & tourism preferred. Excellent team player and motivator, positive and proactive, strong communication and a can-do attitude. Highly developed organisational skills and excellent administrative skills including attention to detail. Ability to work to multiple deadlines whilst staying calm under pressure. Ability to work autonomously and show initiative.
