Let's be clear upfront: this is not a "sit back and report last month" finance role.
Who We Are
At Daniel's Donuts, we're not just baking Australia's best donuts and pies—we're building a national sensation. From humble beginnings to over 40 million donuts sold, we're scaling fast—rolling out into 7-Eleven & Bunnings stores nationwide and expanding our own retail footprint across the country.
The donuts don't stop here though. We also own iconic wholesale brands like Doughnut Time, Mr Donut, Anytime Donuts, and Bay Bakery. We're spreading sweet & savoury vibes far and wide. You'll find our treats stocked in some big names — Starbucks, Coles, Reddy Express, Woolworths, Ampol, and bp — so whether you're grabbing a coffee, fueling up, or doing the weekly shop, a donut fix, or savoury treat is never far away
With rapid growth comes exciting complexity—and that's where you come in.
The Role
This is a hands-on, sleeves-rolled-up Senior Finance Manager role for someone who loves cashflow, understands how businesses actually make (and lose) money, and isn't afraid to challenge assumptions with numbers grounded in reality.
Reporting to the CFO, you'll lead the financial management, reporting, and commercial insight functions of the business, bringing structure, discipline, and clarity while helping the business make better decisions every day.
If you get a strange sense of satisfaction from a clean cashflow forecast, a tight month-end close, and operators finally trusting the numbers — keep reading.
The Purpose of the Role
The Senior Finance Manager is the guardian of the numbers and the protector of the cash, keeping Daniel's Donuts financially healthy as we grow bigger, bolder, and busier.
This is a key leadership role within finance, working shoulder-to-shoulder with senior operational leaders to turn data into decisions and donuts into sustainable profits — across retail, manufacturing, wholesale, and support teams.
With an unapologetic focus on cashflow and working capital, this hands-on role brings structure, clarity, and commercial smarts to a fast-moving, scale-up environment — making sure growth is exciting, not chaotic.
