We're looking for a whizz Senior Contract Administrator to join our high-performing team supporting the NWTD project in Northwest Tasmania. Be a part of a future-focused initiative that drives clean energy and sustainable practices across Australia.
About the Role
We are seeking a highly motivated Senior Contracts Administrator to support the successful delivery of the North West Transmission Developments project. This role will be pivotal in ensuring contracts are effectively administered, risks are managed, and commercial opportunities are optimised.
You will work closely with project managers, estimators, and the executive team to oversee tender negotiations, contract compliance, and stakeholder engagement.
What You’ll Do
* Lead the administration of high-value contracts from tender through delivery
* Provide expert advice on contract terms, claims, delays, and variations
* Manage commercial correspondence and supplier/subcontractor negotiations
* Ensure compliance with AS4000 suite of contracts, WHS, and relevant legislation
* Partner with project teams to drive performance, reporting, and continuous improvement
About You
* Tertiary qualifications in contracts, commercial/business law, or a related discipline
* Experience in a senior commercial/contract management role within Construction industry
* Proven ability to manage complex contracts and high-value projects
* Strong stakeholder engagement and relationship management skills
* Advanced analytical, numerical, and problem-solving capabilities
* High level of commercial insight and strategic thinking
* Experience with cost-plus and risk-reward contract arrangements involving major contractors
* Sound knowledge of Australian standards and legislation related to quality, WHS, risk management, environmental protection, construction, and security of payments
