Offer description

Overview

For over 45 years, ABN Group has helped thousands in Western Australia and Victoria realise the dream of homeownership. From first homes to luxury residences, we've built over 90,000 homes while earning the trust of our community. Our team of 1,900 employees and 3,000+ suppliers and subcontractors share our core values: Relentless, Fun, Authentic, Passion, Excellence, and Leadership.

The Role

As our Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) Analyst, you will partner closely with business leaders to support planning, budgeting and forecasting activities, playing a key role in shaping how the business grows and performs.

This is a critical position supporting effective operational and commercial decision-making across our cabinet, glass and stone manufacturing operations, and the broader Construction Services businesses.

The role is based in Bassendean, with travel required to the Leederville office one day per week. Flexible working arrangements, including work-from-home options, are available.

Key Responsibilities

* Provide clear, accurate manufacturing cost analysis, performance reporting and insights that help our teams make confident operational decisions
* Strengthen our manufacturing finance practices, from job costing accuracy to understanding what's driving profitability
* Work closely with operations, scheduling, procurement and finance to improve budgeting, forecasting and day-to-day financial visibility
* Deep dive into cost drivers across product lines and sites to highlight opportunities for improvement
* Play an active role in our transformation projects, including process and system enhancements
* Help build capability across financial controls, labour/overhead allocation, variance analysis and overall cost efficiency

You

You're an analytical individual with a passion for translating complex data into clear, actionable strategies. You enjoy working in fast-moving environments, especially where change and improvement are part of the journey.

What You\'ll Bring

* Proven experience in accounting, finance or analysis, within manufacturing, engineering, FMCG, construction materials, or related sectors
* Expertise in forecasting, budgeting, and performance reporting
* Advanced analytical and financial modelling skills, with the ability to break complex information down for non-finance stakeholders
* Ability to work collaboratively with production teams and translate operational activities into financial impacts
* Strong digital skills (Excel, ERP systems like D365, and ideally Power BI)
* Degree in Accounting or Finance and CA/CPA qualification

We Will Provide

We\'re not just offering a job; we\'re inviting you to be part of a community that values innovation, passion, and excellence. Our employee benefits include:

* A great team culture: We regularly have team events, gatherings, and plenty of opportunities to bond
* Career growth: Whether you want to deepen your expertise or explore new areas, we'll support your development
* Competitive salary and benefits: We offer a great compensation package and additional perks to make your time with us even more rewarding
* Wellness focus: We provide dedicated programs to nurture your wellbeing and support your goals
* Parental leave: Additional paid parental leave for both primary and non-primary carers
