Property, Strata & Construction Litigation
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a talented Litigation Lawyer to join a highly regarded boutique law firm specialising in strata, property and construction matters. Based in Sydney, this well-established practice is recognised for advising developers, builders, owners corporations, lot owners and government entities on a broad range of complex and high-value matters.
Working closely with highly experienced principals and senior practitioners, you will gain exposure to sophisticated litigation matters across property, strata, commercial and construction disputes, while enjoying genuine mentoring and career development opportunities.
The Opportunity
You will work on a diverse range of litigation and dispute resolution matters, including:
* commercial and contractual disputes;
* trust and partnership disputes;
* debt recovery matters;
* strata and community scheme disputes;
* building and construction litigation; and
* local government prosecution matters.
The practice advises on matters connected to significant development and construction projects ranging from approximately $5 million to $20 million in value. Lawyers are often involved throughout the lifecycle of a project — from acquisition and structuring through to construction, subdivision, strata/community scheme creation, leasing and sale.
Due to the collaborative nature and size of the team, there will also be opportunities to gain exposure to other areas of law and broaden your technical skillset.
About You
Suitable candidates will ideally possess:
* between 2–8+ years' post-admission experience;
* experience in litigation, ideally with exposure to property, strata, construction or commercial disputes;
* strong drafting and analytical skills;
* excellent communication and client relationship abilities; and
* a proactive and team-oriented approach.
