As a State Sales Manager, you will play a crucial role in driving sales growth and margin improvement for our organization. You will be responsible for managing, coaching, and mentoring a team of sales professionals to achieve exceptional results.

Key Responsibilities:
* Achieving/exceeding sales & contribution targets.
* Managing, coaching, and mentoring sales team.

* Targeting state asset owners & construction companies.
* Monitoring competitors & expanding market coverage.
* Representing the company at industry events.
* Managing team performance (hiring, training, performance management).
* Regular reporting (forecasts, end-of-month reports, CRM updates).
* Building strong customer relationships, addressing complaints, and escalating issues as needed.
* Developing and implementing strategic sales plans to maximize market penetration and revenue growth.
* Collaborating with marketing team to create effective promotional materials and campaigns.
* Analyzing market trends and customer needs to identify new product opportunities and distribution channels.
* Negotiating and managing contracts with key distributors and partners.
* Ensuring compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and legal requirements in all sales activities.
Requirements:
* 5 years experience in a similar capacity.
* Develop and use broad strategy skills & perspective.
* Innovative thinker with the ability to conceptualize, develop and implement complex proposals and programs.
* High level customer relationship and negotiation skills.
* Effective problem solving with decisions reflecting sound judgement and ingenuity.
* Good presentation, oral and written communication skills.
* Self-motivated with a high degree of initiative and independence and ability to operate with minimum supervision.
