Specification Sales Manager

About The Role:
You'll take charge of a dynamic territory, connecting with architects, designers and consultants to ensure Zip's world-leading hydration solutions are the first choice for specification – in both commercial and residential projects.
Your Key Responsibilities:
* Build and nurture strong relationships within the architecture and design community, leveraging existing contacts or confidently developing new ones.
* Drive specification sales by maintaining a disciplined call cycle, delivering regular presentations, and exceeding sales and margin goals.
* Identify and convert new project opportunities by staying informed on local developments and managing leads efficiently through Salesforce.
* Keep up to date with Zip's product range and competitor activity to provide expert knowledge and maintain a competitive edge.
* Collaborate closely with Zip's Technical Training Team to support and educate clients, ensuring they have the information needed to specify Zip products confidently.
* Maintain timely follow-up on all customer inquiries, keep product literature current within your customer base, and report regularly on competitor activity and market trends.
What You Bring:
* Experience in specification roles – ideally within architecture, design, or construction.
* A proactive mindset with strong relationship-building skills.
* Confidence in presenting and influencing across various professional levels.
* Great organisational and time-management skills.
* Existing industry contacts are highly valued.
* Experience working on residential projects is a plus.
