About the Role
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced executive leader who has demonstrated experience in fixed operations and dealership operational departments management. You will report directly to the Dealer Principal and work closely with the management team to ensure operational excellence and profitability.
Key Responsibilities
* Strategic Direction: Drive strategic direction and performance across financial management, administration, and fixed operations.
* Operational Alignment: Align service, parts, pre-delivery, and admin functions with business goals.
* Governance Framework: Drive the governance framework to sustain our operating rhythm and facilitate high performance.
* Profit Maximisation: Maximize profitability and efficiency across all business functions.
* KPI Management: Oversee KPIs, budgets, and financial performance across the group.
* Continuous Improvement: Lead continuous improvement in systems, processes, and cost control.
* Team Leadership: Lead and develop a high-performing team with clear accountability.
Skills and Experience
* Australian Automotive Industry: Strong knowledge of the Australian automotive industry.
* Fundamental Skills: Demonstrated experience in fixed operations and dealership operational departments management.
* Business Development: Proven business development and financial management capabilities.
* Leveraging People: Excellent people leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
* Technical Knowledge: Strong knowledge of computer-based inventory and dealership management systems.
Performance Indicators
* Sales and Profitability: Achievement of monthly sales and profitability targets across service, parts, and admin.
* Customer Satisfaction: Customer Satisfaction Index (CSI) scores that meet or exceed OEM expectations.
* Financial Reporting: Accurate and timely financial and compliance reporting.
* Staff Performance: Staff performance, retention, and engagement levels.
