Are you our new Marketing Coordinator?


Computer One is an award-winning Australian IT services company with clients across the country and abroad. This role is ideal for an early-career marketer looking for hands-on experience across digital marketing, advertising, and brand support.

You don't need experience in every area listed. What matters most is a positive attitude, willingness to learn, and confidence to jump in and give things a go. There's genuine desire to help you develop your knowledge and career.


You will master these areas


SEO and content

* Plan content topics with the Marketing Manager, then research and create content for our website, socials and email campaigns.
* Work with our partners to align the website with evolving requirements for SEO and GEO.
* Manage reviews across Google and other platforms.

* Refresh high-performing web pages to maintain and improve rankings.

* Secure links from authoritative sites to strengthen domain authority.

Database management

* Take ownership for keeping our CRM clean and highly functional.
* Build automated workflows to brief.
* Enrich data using approved third-party tools.

Client acquisition and retention

* Execute direct marketing campaigns with the Marketing Manager and partners – supply accurate data, coordinate resources and report results.

Event management

* Scope and run in-person events, webinars and other activities – develop invitations, handle on-the-day logistics and produce post-event content for socials.

Brand, imagery and assets

* Produce and maintain brand assets and take responsibility for our identity across all channels.

Design, photo and video coordination

* Work with our designers to produce effective graphic design
* Coordinate photography.
* Assist on video productions – storyboarding, scripting and sound research.

PR

* Identify potential releases, research engaging stories, draft copy, iterate on feedback and distribute releases.

Maintain and grow our knowledge base

* Maintain a searchable repository of winning proposals and tender responses.
* Produce internal training documents and client-facing guides, and update the company knowledge base.

Market intelligence and client support

* Assist with market and competitor insights.
* Interact with clients professionally and help where needed to uphold our service standards.

Reporting and suppliers

* Provide weekly activity summaries to the Marketing Manager.
* Coordinate day-to-day work with suppliers and partners.

Let's talk about you


While we value experience within our industry, what we think is more important is your attitude. If you can demonstrate you have an enquiring mind, the ability to pick up new technology quickly, technical aptitude in the Microsoft suite and some real-world marketing experience, we would be delighted to receive your application.

Must-haves

* High standard of English – clear, concise writing for web, email and PR with tone matched to technical and executive audiences.
* Excel and data handling – confidence with lookups, pivot charts and preparing clean files for CRM imports.
* PowerPoint or similar – build and maintain on-brand decks and templates and export correctly for web and print.
* Applied AI literacy – use approved AI tools for research, outlines and first drafts while verifying facts and protecting privacy.
* Graphic design fundamentals – produce social tiles, banners and one-pagers with sound typography and accessibility.
* Research skills – desk research, sourcing and referencing.

Nice-to-haves

* Experience in B2B, technology or services.
* Experience with Wordpress.
* In-person market research interview experience.
* CRM and marketing automation – experience with lists, segments, workflows, and data hygiene.
* Adobe Creative Cloud or Canva experience.
* Driver's licence preferred for event logistics.

On a personal level:

* You will need strong written and spoken communication skills and the ability to work with both technical and non-technical people.
* You are able to own a project or task through to completion.
* You will be self-motivated and maintain a sense of urgency as the situation requires; we don't micro-manage your day – we expect you to deliver against agreed timelines.
* You will be able to work individually and as part of larger team.


Work rights and hours


You must have the right to work in Australia. Some after-hours work is required on occasion, with time in lieu offered.
