We are seeking an experienced and proactive Human Resource Adviser to deliver high‐quality human resources services across recruitment, onboarding, workforce planning, employee relations, and HR compliance.

Key Responsibilities
* Reporting directly to the CEO, you will:
o Coordinate end‐to‐end recruitment and selection processes, including job design, advertising, screening, interviewing, reference checks, and offers.
o Deliver structured onboarding and induction programs for new employees.
o Maintain accurate HR records and manage HRIS workflows, documentation, and compliance reporting.
o Provide advice on employment conditions, workplace relations, performance management processes, and policy interpretation.
o Support workforce planning, capability development, and HR initiatives that enhance organisational effectiveness.
o Ensure compliance with the Fair Work Act, National Employment Standards, modern awards, and all internal HR policies.
o Assist with workplace health and safety (WHS) requirements, incident reporting, and employee wellbeing initiatives.
o Contribute to HR projects, policy development, and continuous improvement activities.
o Demonstrate Kingston International College's values of innovation, integrity, passion, and professionalism in all interactions.
Qualifications and Experience
Essential
* Minimum Certificate IV in Human Resources (or higher qualification such as a Diploma or Degree in Human Resources, Business, or related discipline).
* Proven experience in a generalist HR Adviser or HR Officer role within an Australian workplace.
* Strong understanding of Australian employment legislation, HR best practice, and modern award interpretation.
* Excellent communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder‐management skills.
* Proficiency with Microsoft Office and HRIS systems.
Desirable
* Experience within the education, RTO, or VET sector.
* Exposure to WHS, employee engagement, or learning and development initiatives.
* AHRI membership or progression toward certification.
Mandatory Requirements
* Valid Working with Children Check (or willingness to acquire one)
* Valid National Police Clearance (or willingness to acquire one)
* Verified education qualification(s)
