Mercy Health Albury, Geriatric Evaluation and Management ward, consists of a 20-bed inpatient ward providing specialist in-patient Geriatric services to Albury Wodonga and surrounds. The team includes a Geriatrician, nursing staff, physiotherapy, occupational therapy, speech pathology, social work, and pastoral care.
About The Role

- Provide best practice care as a pivotal member of the multidisciplinary team

About You
- Current registration with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse
- Must have current immunisation as per NSW Health Policy (Category A Risk position)
- Rehabilitation experience is desirable but not essential
- Focus on patient-centered nursing
- Minimum 2 years post-graduate nursing experience
- Robust time management and organizational skills
- Computer literacy
You will also need to provide or be in the process of obtaining:
- A current Police Record Check and Working with Children Check
- Proof of influenza vaccination and other vaccinations per public health orders

Minimum Requirements
- Current registration with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse
- Competencies in multidisciplinary team nursing care
- Effective clinical communication skills, both written and verbal
- Application of evidence-based practice and critical thinking
- Ability to supervise, delegate, and lead care delivery
- Recent clinical experience and commitment to professional development
- Ability to prioritize and organize workload effectively
- Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel within NSW, including overnight stays
