The gig:
Reporting to the Club General Manager, you'll deliver both a preventative and reactive maintenance schedule safely, on time and within budget. You'll be the go-to handyperson for all things maintenance for our world class club facilities.
In a nutshell:
* You'll put together a planned preventative maintenance schedule for the building shell, fixtures, fittings and surrounding grounds
* You'll oversee the completion of minor repairs and reactive maintenance, ensuring all is tracked
* You'll manage contractors to ensure they achieve agreed outcomes and operate safely, providing a fully functional, compelling and safe environment for our members and team members
* You'll raise awareness about the club's carbon footprint and provide solutions to reduce utility consumption across electricity, gas, water and waste
* You'll ensure electrical compliance and regularly report maintenance updates via checklists along with capex projections
All about you:
* You're experienced in building maintenance (including HVAC) and have a qualification in a technical trade (electrician, mechanical fitter, boilermaker, air con or refrigeration mechanic experience highly advantageous)
* You're patient, level-headed and cool under pressure with knowledge of regulatory compliance across facilities
* You have good planning skills and are efficient at resolving issues with safety and budget in mind
* You take great pride in your property and naturally think about ways of improving its carbon footprint and reducing utility consumption. A+ for you
