Are you a recently qualified Electrical professional ready to take the first big step in your career? About the Role
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Electrical Officer to join our client’s growing operations on a day-shift basis. This is a temporary role with a view to going permanent – perfect for someone with around 1 year of experience post-qualification who’s keen to build their skills in a fast-paced, dynamic setting.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct regular inspections to identify faults or maintenance needs
- Check building electrical and hydraulic systems for safe functionality
- Plan, support, and oversee repair and installation activities
- Monitor and maintain equipment inventory, placing orders when needed
- Perform routine preventive maintenance to minimise downtime
- Troubleshoot and repair electrical issues as they arise
- Assist with the installation and commissioning of new machinery
- Maintain detailed records of inspections, maintenance, and performance
What We are Looking For
- Tertiary qualification in Electrical or related field
- Approximately 1 year of hands-on electrical experience
- Strong attention to detail and a proactive mindset
- Ability to work as part of a team in a manufacturing or industrial environment
