About the Role
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Accountant to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing day-to-day financial operations, preparing accurate financial reports, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulations, and providing insights to support strategic decision-making.
Key Responsibilities
* Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, ledgers, and reconciliations.
* Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
* Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable, including invoice processing and debtor/creditor reconciliations.
* Monitor cash flow, budgets, and financial forecasts.
* Ensure compliance with statutory obligations, including taxation, BAS, superannuation, and payroll reporting.
* Assist in the preparation of audit requirements and liaise with external auditors.
* Implement and maintain effective internal controls to safeguard company assets.
* Support management with financial analysis, reporting, and ad hoc projects.
Skills & Qualifications
* Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
* CPA/CA qualified (or working towards) preferred.
* Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting standards, and tax compliance.
* Proficiency with accounting software (e.g., Xero, MYOB, or similar) and MS Excel.
* Excellent attention to detail, organisational, and problem-solving skills.
* Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

Pay: $75,000.00 – $85,000.00 per year
