**The role**

Reporting to the Health and Safety Business Partner, the Health and Safety Advisor will provide support to the Cement & Lime operations in South Australia through providing information, training and mentoring to Managers, Supervisors, Team Leaders and Health and Safety Representatives to ensure the responsible area of the organisation meets it H&S objectives and obligations.

This is **permanent, full time** role based in either **Birkenhead or Angaston, SA.**

**Responsibilities**
- Support the development and implementation of Adbri's Work Safe, Home Safe program and strategies to drive continuous improvement in H&S performance.
- Undertake regular planned site visits to responsible operational sites to an agreed schedule, communicate observations and areas of focus.
- Ensure advice and support is provided that allows compliance with HSE legislation, codes of practice and standards.
- Ensure that responsible HSE training records are maintained, and programs reviewed against strategic plan.

**What you will need to succeed**
- Recognised occupational health and safety qualification (minimum Diploma level)
- Formal qualifications and experience in WHS Auditing
- Training experience/qualifications (e.g. Cert IV Training and Assessment)
- Qualifications in incident investigation (e.g. ICAM)
- 3 years or more in a similar position
- Exposure to heavy manufacturing or similar industries
