About the Role
We are looking for a highly capable DevOps Cloud & Infrastructure Engineer with strong engineering fundamentals, deep troubleshooting capability, and the ability to operate independently in a complex environment.
This is not a traditional operations role — we are not looking for someone to follow runbooks or process tickets. You will work across a hybrid infrastructure spanning cloud and on‐premise systems, supporting a mix of modern and legacy platforms. The role requires someone who can understand how systems behave under the hood, not just operate tools.
You will be expected to take ownership of problems end‐to‐end, including cases where the issue is not clearly defined or spans multiple systems — investigating across infrastructure, networking, and application layers, identifying root causes, and working with development teams where needed.
Beyond operations, you will contribute to improving how we run systems: reducing repetition through automation, challenging inefficient approaches, and ensuring solutions fit within the broader architecture.
What YOU Need
You are an engineer with strong problem‐solving ability, solid technical fundamentals, and a proactive mindset. You are comfortable working in complex environments, take ownership of your work, and are driven to understand how systems actually function.
You are comfortable working without step‐by‐step guidance. You know how to break down complex problems, ask the right questions, and decide when to dig deeper versus when to elevate.
Education & Experience
* Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, IT, or equivalent
* Minimum 5 years' experience in infrastructure, DevOps, or cloud engineering roles
* Experience working in hybrid environments (cloud + on‐premise)
* Proven ability to troubleshoot complex, multi‐layered systems
Technical Skills - Must Have
* Strong troubleshooting capability — able to investigate beyond logs and error messages across systems, networking, and applications
* Advanced Linux administration (Ubuntu or similar), including system‐level debugging

* Java application servers (WildFly)
* JVM troubleshooting (memory, GC, threading, connectivity)
