About the Position
Opportunities exist to work with our Aged Care Portfolio in partnership with WAPHA (Western Australia Primary Health Alliance), providing in‑reach counselling to people in Residential Aged Care Facilities (both individual and/or group work). Services and supports include early detection and intervention services and low intensity mental health services. This is a free service to the residents, fully funded by the federal government and with WAPHA.
Selection Criteria
* Relevant qualifications & registration in your chosen field
* Experience working with people experiencing mental health issues
* Demonstrated ability to work effectively with a range of different service providers to access services and/or coordinate service delivery
* Maintain a safe working environment
* Maintain a working knowledge of practice policies and procedures
* Attend staff meetings and professional development as required
* Police Clearance
* Public Liability and Professional Indemnity Insurance
