**Reliability Engineer: Infrastructure and Asset Specialist**
About the Role
We are seeking a skilled reliability engineer to focus on mechanical infrastructure, light and medium vehicles, buildings, and pump systems.
This role will drive equipment availability and reliability by applying predictive maintenance, conducting investigations into recurring failures, and delivering improvement projects.
Key Responsibilities:
* Conduct Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and deliver preventive actions.
* Develop predictive maintenance strategies across infrastructure and mechanical assets.
* Monitor and report reliability KPIs (MTBF, MTTR, OEE, failure trends).
* Lead compliance reviews, equipment utilisation analysis, and improvement projects.
* Oversee component tracking, condition monitoring, and spare parts management.
* Collaborate with operations and maintenance teams to align reliability initiatives with production goals.
Requirements:
* Reliability or maintenance engineering background in mechanical infrastructure, vehicles, or fixed plant systems.
* Experience in mining environments.
* Background in working on the owner's side overseeing contractors.
* Strong analytical skills with experience in predictive maintenance and asset monitoring.
* Mechanical or Electrical Engineering background suited (experience with pumps, buildings, and fleet assets desirable).
* Ability to influence stakeholders and work collaboratively with operations and maintenance teams.
* Strong safety awareness and continuous improvement mindset.
