The is seeking to appoint a Lecturer in Solar and/or Stellar Physics to work in the Discipline of Physics, with the prospect to contribute to the Centre for Space Physics.

Base Salary: $117,226 – $139,207 plus 17% superannuation
Position: Full-time, fixed term (18 months, until end of February 2027)
Location: Callaghan Campus, Newcastle, Australia

The successful candidate will have:
- A PhD in Physics or equivalent relevant field.
- Demonstrated recent experience in an academic role delivering results in research and innovation, teaching and learning, and service and engagement.
- Strong research track record (relative to opportunity) in an area relevant to Solar and Stellar Physics.
- Highly developed interpersonal skills including the ability to participate in a team environment demonstrating clear communication and mutual respect.
