About the Role
Working as part of Latrobe City Council's Procurement team you will play a key role in providing purchasing, tendering, contract and fleet administration support for the organisation.
You will provide advice and support in all aspects of procurement and fleet management ensuring Council's procurement activities are compliant to relevant policies, frameworks, procedures, guidelines, and legislation.
About You
For this position we are seeking someone who has high level attention to detail and proven interpersonal skills to work within a close team-based environment and experience in liaising, influencing, and coordinating with a wide range of internal customers and external stakeholders.
You will have:
* Experience in procurement activity processes, fleet management, contract administration and management, the evaluation of tenders and the preparation of specifications is desirable.
* Demonstrated experience in administration.
* Experience with a variety of computer applications
* Current Drivers Licence
