IT Manager Opportunity – Lead Technology Strategy
Sydney (Hybrid) - up to $180k + Super
We are seeking a forward-thinking IT Manager to lead the technology function for a prominent Sydney-based organisation. This is a unique, stand-alone role for a visionary someone who is genuinely excited about the potential of AI and keen to push the boundaries of innovation while balancing core business needs.
You will be responsible for both the high-level technology roadmap and the essential day-to-day operations. We need someone who can drive AI and process automation, particularly in supporting our sales and marketing teams—the engines of our business. A key focus will be the implementation of Agentic AI agents to shadow and support staff, enhancing productivity across the organisation.
While you will be a visionary leader, you must also be comfortable with the "less exciting" but critical aspects of the role. This includes maintaining Essential 8 Level 2 compliance, overseeing robust governance, and ensuring our IT infrastructure meets the highest standards of security and reliability.
Key Responsibilities
* Drive AI & Automation: Lead the adoption of AI tools and process automation, with a specific focus on supporting sales and marketing functions.
* Agentic AI Implementation: Explore and deploy Agentic AI agents to shadow and assist staff, driving efficiency and innovation.
* Strategic Roadmap: Develop and execute a comprehensive technology roadmap that aligns with organisational goals.
* Cybersecurity & Governance: Maintain Essential 8 Level 2 compliance and ensure robust ICT governance and security frameworks.
* Operational Excellence: Manage all IT infrastructure, systems, and applications, providing high-quality helpdesk support and vendor management.
