What You'll Do
* Collaborate with leadership to develop and implement Human Resources strategies.
* Support managers with employee relations, performance management, and workforce planning.
* Oversee recruitment, onboarding, and offboarding processes.
* Coordinate payroll systems and practices, including overseas operations and addressing complex wage structures like penalty rates.
* Ensure compliance with industry regulations, including the Modern Slavery Act and HIGA Awards.
* Drive employee engagement initiatives to maintain a motivated and high-performing team.
* Lead health, safety, and wellbeing initiatives aligned with WorkSafe guidelines.
* Maintain Human Resources systems, policies, and reporting processes.
* Contribute to internal communication, recognition programs, and company culture.
What We're Looking For
* 4+ years experience in a generalist Human Resources role in a fast-paced, service-driven hospitality environment.
* Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to partner effectively across all levels.
* Sound knowledge of employment legislation, compliance, and best practices including Modern Slavery Act and HIGA awards.
* Experience overseeing the payroll.
* Exceptional planning, organizational, and communication skills.
* A collaborative, people-first mindset with a passion for fostering a positive workplace culture.
* Experience with HRIS systems.
