Are you looking for a stable and rewarding role? Ventia is currently seeking a dedicated Prison Cleaner to join our team at Karreenga Prison in Lara. This position offers consistent morning shifts, with the potential to transition into a permanent role.
Position: Prison Cleaner
Employment Type: Casual (with potential for permanent placement after a few months)
Hourly Rate: $31.21 plus Superannuation
Location: Karreenga Prison, Lara, VIC
Working Hours: Monday to Friday from 6:30 AM to 10:30 AM. Additional hours available until 2:30 PM as required

Duties
- Cleaning and sanitizing all areas of the prison, including offices, reception, workshops, bathrooms, communal areas, and foyers
- Dusting, sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming floors, staircases, and surfaces
- Bio-cleaning might also be required at times
To be considered for this role
- Have a reliable vehicle and a valid Driver’s License
- Be able to kneel, lift, perform the required duties, and stand for 4 hours or more
- Provide a recent National Police Check (under 6 months) and a valid Working with Children Card
- Successfully pass a medical assessment, as well as random drug and alcohol tests
