Position Overview
The University Integrity Officer will lead the design and delivery of a whole-of-University integrity and complaints oversight function, managing the intake, triage, referral, co-ordination, monitoring, and reporting on integrity and complaint matters externally and to relevant governance forums. Situated within the Legal, Governance and Risk Office, the position will work with existing risk owners to ensure matters are handled consistently and in accordance with legislative, regulatory and University requirements, while strengthening institutional transparency, accountability, and trust through a central oversight and assurance role. The University Integrity Officer does not duplicate formal investigative or decision-making responsibilities held within existing frameworks or by existing delegates.
The ideal Candidate will have extensive experience demonstrating strong outreach, assurance and data focus, and an ability to work closely with senior stakeholders and their teams, including Human Resources, Student Conduct and Appeals, Research Integrity, Legal, Governance and Risk, and Information Technology, as well as Colleges and Service Divisions and the Chief Planning, Data and Analysis Officer.
