Medtech is a provider of primary health technology in Australia, helping healthcare professionals deliver safer, smarter, and more connected care. We're looking for an Account Manager to build strong, long-term partnerships with healthcare customers across Australia.
In this role, you'll act as a trusted advisor ensuring customers understand our products deeply, make the most of Medtech's solutions, and receive guidance that supports their clinical and operational needs. You'll conduct onsite and virtual visits, deliver training, support implementations, identify growth opportunities, and bring customer insights back into the organisation.
This is an ideal role for someone who excels at relationship-building, training, and customer advocacy, and who thrives in a dynamic, travel-based, customer-facing environment.
What You'll Do
Build strong, trusted relationships with GP practices, PHNs, allied health providers, and other healthcare customers
Conduct regular onsite and virtual engagement visits to understand customer needs and environments
Deliver high-quality training sessions, workshops, webinars, and educational content
Support regional events, user groups, and community engagement activities
Identify opportunities for product adoption, upsell, or cross-sell and coordinate with Sales
Manage customer implementations from kickoff to post-go-live handover
Provide customer insights to product, development, and leadership teams
Stay current with Medtech product releases, configurations, and best-practice workflows
Advocate for customer needs while ensuring alignment with Medtech's strategy
Uphold privacy, security, and compliance standards across all customer work
What You'll Bring
Strong experience in customer relationship management, account management, training, or consulting—health sector experience preferred
Solid understanding of PMS systems, clinical workflows, or health information systems
Proven experience delivering training, workshops, or product demonstrations
Excellent relationship-building and communication skills across varied healthcare audiences
Ability to coordinate implementations and manage multiple customer projects
Strong commercial awareness and the ability to identify value-add opportunities
High organisational capability and comfort working autonomously
Ability to travel regularly throughout Australia
Practical understanding of privacy, confidentiality, and handling clinical information
