Job Description
The Director Finance Business Partner (Homes) plays a key role in the financial management of the Homes Division. This includes housing and homelessness services, increasing NSW housing supply and maintenance through engagement with the Land and Housing Corporation.
This position requires an experienced and specialist finance business partnering leader who can provide high level strategic, tactical and operational advice/support to the Divisional Executives ensuring that operations meet required standards of probity, equity and best practice in public administration and achievement of the Department and Government objectives.
* Lead and manage the preparation and timely distribution of quality management and financial reports for the assigned divisions.
* Develop ground up budgets (Recurrent and Capital) for divisions, working closely with business executives to ensure budgets reflect business plans and are within budget allocation.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide relevant financial advice to enable the executive leadership team to make informed decisions around resource allocation and optimisation of business outcomes.
* Support preparation of ministerial and cabinet submissions relating to policy and initiatives to enable NSW Government's strategic outcomes.

* Experience at the senior executive level building and sustaining collaborative partnerships to ensure customer centricity and effective decision making
* Strong strategic thinker with financial and operational acumen to deliver sustainable outcomes and management financial risk
* Expertise in analysis and effectively communicate insights to stakeholders
Requirements
* Tertiary qualifications in Accounting, Business, Finance, Economics or Commerce or other relevant field and eligible for membership of CPA Australian or Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand.
