Horizon Power is seeking a self-motivated, hands on Generation Technician to operate and maintain power generation assets across Kununurra and nearby communities.
We're excited to offer this newly created role.
This is your opportunity to make an impact from day one.
You'll be responsible for maintaining Generation Assets in accordance with corporate and divisional systems and frameworks to deliver safe, reliable and quality power supply.
This is a residential permanent full time position – not on a FIFO roster.

What You'll Do:
• Keep our power flowing: Operate and maintain generation assets to the highest safety and performance standards.
• Drive results: Deliver work packages and provide technical support for generation activities.
• Optimise performance: Ensure Asset performance is aligned with divisional and corporate performance objectives.
• Shape the future: Contribute to the development of Generation Asset Management Plans.
• Take control: Perform switching, isolations and permitting as required.
What You'll Bring:
• A relevant Australian Electrical or Mechanical Trade Qualification.
• WA Electrical Workers Licence.
• Significant experience in maintaining and operating reciprocating diesel power stations.
• Strong knowledge of generation systems, and unwavering commitment to safety standards.
• Demonstrated experience in maintenance planning, scheduling, and managing work order job flows in a Utility/Generation environment.
