Position Overview:
We are looking for a dedicated and motivated Site Engineer to play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth execution of our construction projects. You will work closely with our project management team, subcontractors, and clients to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
We are currently building a 22 Level high rise in epping with a further 295 unit developement in Rouse Hill starting end of the year. The successful candidate will be able to work on both projects with plenty of upcoming projects in the pipeline at Ryde, Parramatta and Mortdale.
Key Responsibilities:
* Assist in project planning, scheduling, and coordination.
* Review and process contracts, change orders, and project documentation.
* Monitor project progress and report on key milestones.
* Ensure compliance with building codes, regulations, and safety standards.
* Coordinate with subcontractors and suppliers to maintain project timelines.
* Assist in cost control and budget management.
* Resolve construction-related issues and conflicts effectively.
* Maintain accurate project records and documentation.
* Participate in site inspections and quality control checks.
Qualifications:
* Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field (preferred but not required).
* Previous experience in a similar role in the construction industry is a plus.
* Strong organizational and communication skills.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office and construction management software including Hammertech and Procure is preferred.
* Knowledge of the current D&BP Act, construction codes, regulations, and safety standards.
* Ability to work well in a team and independently.
* Detail-oriented with excellent problem-solving skills.
