Job Opportunity: Water Infrastructure Project Engineer
RSGx is currently seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Project Engineer to lead a major water and wastewater treatment infrastructure initiative in Canberra. This project will commence immediately, providing an exciting opportunity for the right candidate to make a significant impact.
About the Role
* The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering mechanical components of water and treatment infrastructure, managing pump stations, pipework, valves, and mechanical fit-out.
* They will also supervise subcontractors and ensure quality assurance throughout the project lifecycle.
* In addition, the Mechanical Project Engineer will support commissioning and final handover activities, ensuring a seamless transition to operational readiness.
Key Responsibilities: The Mechanical Project Engineer will oversee the delivery of mechanical components, manage infrastructure assets, supervise contractors, and ensure quality control measures are in place. They will also contribute to commissioning and final handover processes.
Requirements: To excel in this role, candidates must possess 5+ years of experience in mechanical engineering, specifically in water or wastewater treatment infrastructure. A strong understanding of hydraulic systems and mechanical design is essential, as is involvement in all stages from design development to operational readiness.
