We are looking for a community focused Workshop Foreman to join CBCity and assist the Team Leader with the day‐to‐day activities of running the mechanical workshop. You will be an accomplished mechanic, ideally with experience in heavy and light fleet and also plant. You will be responsible for ensuring high quality outputs of both Preventive and Corrective maintenance being carried out by the workshop.

Duties Will Include But Not Be Limited To
* Perform preventive and corrective maintenance, diagnostics and repairs on fleet vehicles and equipment.
* Support daily workshop operations, scheduling and parts coordination.
* Ensure high‐quality workmanship, safety standards and equipment security.
* Provide technical guidance, supervision and training to workshop staff and apprentices.
* Use Ausfleet systems and contribute to improving workshop efficiency and compliance.

You will have
* Experience and knowledge of suspension systems, automatic (Allison) and manual transmissions, diesel and petrol engines.
* Possess sufficient knowledge and experience of hydraulic and pneumatic operating systems and components to perform diagnostic work.
* Previous experience in coordinating schedule service and maintenance requirements.
* Demonstrated experience in preparing quotations for work.
* Basic skills in use of computers for accessing information and updating Fleet data.
The salary range for this opportunity starts at $82,701 (Grade F, Step 1) + 12% super. Salary may be negotiable dependent on skills and experience.
