Barbers and Blowaves is entering a recent era of refinement and purpose. We are transforming into a luxury apothecary style organic salon devoted to creating a healthier and more conscious approach to haircare. We are now preparing to implement certified organic products, essential oils, and botanical rituals that will define the future of our salon. This evolution is about more than styling hair, it is about curating a holistic experience where each service becomes a ritual of care and renewal.
Our space reflects an elegant black apothecary aesthetic enriched with warmth and serenity. Clients will be welcomed into an atmosphere scented with botanicals, enhanced by warm towel rituals, and complemented with organic scalp therapies designed to leave them feeling restored, nurtured, and transformed.

The Role
We are seeking an experienced organic hairdresser who embodies the art of organic hairdressing. This is more than a job, it is an opportunity to help lead the transformation of our salon into a space defined by nature, luxury, and holistic care while sharing in the benefits of its success.
As our organic specialist, you will bring with you a deep knowledge of organic products, colours, and treatments, and apply them with precision and creativity. From delivering beautiful cuts and blowaves to crafting natural colour transformations, every service you provide will be carried out with organic integrity from beginning to end.
Your role will extend beyond the chair. You will play a vital part in shaping the future of Barbers and Blowaves by helping us select the best organic product ranges, colour systems, and treatment rituals. Together, we will design an organic service menu that feels elevated, restorative, and unique to our salon.
What sets this role apart is the entrepreneurial pathway. You will start with a secure wage, but for the right stylist we are open to structuring a model where you also receive a percentage of your chair and of the services and retail you generate. This creates a powerful incentive to grow with the salon, with real ownership in your results and a direct share in the rewards.
In this role you will:
Deliver precision cuts, blowwaves, colours, toners, and styling exclusively with organic methods
Confidently recommend and apply organic colour systems and treatments from your expertise
Provide luxury scalp and hair rituals such as detox therapies, botanical oil massages, and essential oil hot towel treatments
Collaborate in creating our organic service menu, ensuring every offering reflects the highest standards of healthy beauty
Educate and inspire clients on the benefits of organic haircare and guide them toward suitable take home products
Build not just a client base but a business within a business, benefiting directly from the services and sales you generate
Help establish Barbers and Blowaves as a leader in organic and holistic hairdressing, known for services that restore, nourish, and transform
What We Are Looking For
Demonstrated experience in organic hairdressing with a portfolio or work examples
Strong knowledge of organic brands, colour systems, and treatments. Experience with professional ranges such as Oway, Original and Mineral, Natulique, Innersense, or EverEscents is highly valued, although we welcome stylists who bring expertise with other leading organic systems
Ability to help shape and build organic services in a salon setting
Confidence in delivering a complete client journey organically, from consultation to finish
Passion for healthy beauty, sustainability, and holistic client care
Professional, warm, and reliable with a focus on excellence
An entrepreneurial mindset, excited by the opportunity to earn beyond a wage and build real ownership in your work

Start with three days per week from Thursday to Saturday with opportunity to expand as demand grows
Competitive pay with an hourly rate of 35 to 40 dollars per hour plus commission on retail sales
For the right stylist, the opportunity to move into a profit share model where you earn both a wage and a percentage of all services and retail you generate
The option to own a percentage of your chair, positioning you not only as a stylist but also as a partner in the salon’s success
