We are seeking a qualified and safety-focused Site Technician to support the operation and maintenance of utility-scale renewable energy assets. This hands-on role will be responsible for maintaining plant performance, responding to faults, and ensuring the safe operation of critical electrical infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities
* Perform preventative and corrective maintenance activities.
* Maintain and troubleshoot electrical equipment including transformers, switchgear, substations, inverters, BESS, generators, and UPS systems.
* Monitor plant performance and respond to alarms and faults.
* Support SCADA and communications systems.
* Coordinate contractors and assist with site operations.
* Complete maintenance records and ensure compliance with safety procedures.
Requirements
* Unrestricted Electrical Licence and Trade Qualification.
* Current White Card, Driver's Licence, First Aid/CPR, and LV Rescue.
* Experience in renewable energy, power generation, industrial facilities, or electrical infrastructure.
* Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills.
* HV Switching and SCADA experience highly regarded.
* Willingness to travel when required.
