Civil Labourer Role Summary
Civil labourers are key to delivering infrastructure projects such as road construction and drainage systems maintenance. They work under the guidance of senior labourers or supervisors, performing a range of tasks that require physical effort and manual skills.
Key Responsibilities:
* Assisting in the construction and maintenance of roads, bridges, and other infrastructure projects.
* Operating heavy machinery such as bulldozers and excavators.
* Maintaining tools and equipment in good working condition.
* Ensuring safety and adherence to health and safety regulations at all times.
Requirements:
* A valid C Class Driver's licence.
* A General Construction Industry White Card.
* Either a Certificate II in Civil Construction or equivalent qualification, and/or at least two years' relevant experience.
* Proficiency in Work Zone Traffic Management 2 & 3.
