About the Role
As a Graduate / Junior Structural Engineer based in Canberra, you will work closely with senior engineers to deliver high-quality structural engineering solutions across a range of building projects.
This role is ideal for someone who is:

Key Responsibilities
Assist in the delivery of structural engineering projects, including multi-storey residential, commercial, and industrial developments
Perform structural analysis and design using steel, concrete, and timber
Prepare engineering calculations, drawings, and technical documentation
Produce structural mark-ups for internal drafting teams
Utilise industry-standard software including SpaceGass, RAM, RAPT, and Structural Toolkit
Participate in construction-phase activities, including site inspections and shop drawing reviews
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver practical, compliant, and economical designs
About You
Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering
Graduate to 1–3 years' experience in structural engineering (consultancy experience highly regarded)
Knowledge of Australian Standards
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and technical skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
High attention to detail and a proactive mindset
Experience with Bluebeam Revu advantageous
Location & Relocation
This position is Canberra (ACT) based, working on projects across the ACT and supported by EDGE's national office network.
Relocation support may be offered to high-performing candidates who align with EDGE's culture and growth trajectory.
