About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to oversee and supervise the facilitation of student placements across the mental health sector.
* Working collaboratively with internal stakeholders, including subject matter experts, course coordinators, and across-disciplines to identify, develop and enact placement relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
* Working collaboratively with agencies and service providers in South Australia and the Northern Territory to identify challenges and design creative yet robust solutions for placement opportunities and workforce development.
* Contributing to the planning, evaluation and student placement assessment of these topics, undertaking the role of topic coordinator as required.
About You:
To be successful, you will have completed a PhD and/or have qualifications and equivalent professional experience in an area relevant to social work. The successful candidate will also hold, or be eligible for, membership of the Australian Association of Social Workers, with a minimum of five years (FTE) of post-qualifying experience in the mental health sector.
* Experience of significant teaching and learning experience and excellence at a tertiary level, including curriculum design and field education.
* Evidence of use of learning and teaching approaches which enhance student success.
* Demonstrated experience or capability to engage with students and evaluate student placement outcomes via online learning platforms.
