Full-time position based in Bathurst servicing the Central West Region
As an Employer Engagement Consultant with VERTO, you will play a key role in connecting businesses with VERTO participants looking to secure work. Visiting sites throughout the region, you will develop strong employer relationships, advocate for our participants, and drive positive social change. Your work will help individuals gain meaningful employment while supporting local businesses in finding suitable staffing solutions.
About the role....
In this role you will be:
* Engaging with employers to build and maintain relationships with businesses to identify job vacancies and workforce needs.
* Advocating for participants to promote inclusive hiring practices and create opportunities for individuals looking for work.
* Collaborating with employment consultants and working closely with participants and our team to match participants with suitable roles.
* Expanding VERTO's presence to strengthen our community connections and enhance VERTO's impact across the region.
About you……
We are looking for:
* A people-person who loves building relationships and making connections.
* Strong communication skills with confidence when talking to employers and community groups.
* Someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys problem-solving.
* Basic admin and computer skills, no need to be an expert, just comfortable with systems
* A current driver's license and the willingness to work from VERTO sites across your region regularly will be required.
