Personal Banker | Community Bank Altona | VIC
Role: Personal Banker (internally: Customer Relationship Officer) delivering an exceptional end-to-end banking experience for customers.
In this dynamic, high-impact role you’ll make your mark by:
- Delivering win-win solutions for the bank and customers by understanding current and future goals and designing solutions to meet their needs
- Educating and supporting customers with digital literacy and online banking as we continue to innovate
- Guiding customers through personalised lending options, exploring tailored personal loans and credit card solutions
- Being a lifelong learner with on-the-job training and other learning opportunities
- Building connections with customers and the community, supporting local initiatives and fostering meaningful relationships
This is a Permanent Full-time position located in Altona.
What you’ll bring to the role
To succeed in this role, you’ll consistently deliver exceptional customer service. We’d love you to have:
- Proven ability to achieve sales results through solutions that truly meet customer needs
- Confidence to communicate with new and existing customers face to face and over the phone
- Ability to quickly build relationships with customers and colleagues
- Eagerness to understand and share what makes our bank different
- Drive for collaboration and a team-oriented approach
- Experience in consumer lending is a plus but not essential
