Join our team at Townsville Hospital and Health Service (THHS) as a specialist psychiatrist in our Rehabilitation Mental Health Services Program Area. This permanent, full-time position is based at Townsville University Hospital – the largest tertiary hospital in Northern Australia. The role is ideal for a psychiatrist with expertise in rehabilitation psychiatry, and experience in forensic psychiatry is highly valued.

What's on offer?
Remuneration package of up to AUD $536,916 p.a.
- Base salary range $210332 - $266677 p.a. (L18-L27)
- Employer contribution to superannuation (12.75%)
- Annual leave (5 weeks) + 17.5% loading
- Attraction and retention incentive allowance (50% base salary)
- Regional and rural attraction allowance (5% base salary)
- Motor vehicle allowance - $21,000 - $25,500 p.a.
- Professional development allowance of $21,500 p.a. + 3.6 weeks p.a. leave

Role requirements
- Qualifications in Psychiatry, recognised by the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Psychiatrists.
- Current registration or eligibility for registration as a Specialist with the Medical Board of Australia.
