Bridgestone Select Cairns Central, an award-winning, locally owned family store, is currently seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Motor Mechanic to join our close-knit and friendly team of professionals.

About the Role:
This is a full-time position where the successful applicant will become an integral part of our team, working in a supportive and professional environment.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
A professional and reliable attitude
Experience with a variety of vehicle makes and models
Strong time management and multitasking skills
The ability to work independently and as part of a team
A commitment to following OH&S policies and procedures
A well-presented, punctual, and responsible approach
A keen eye for detail and pride in your work
Good communication skills and a friendly manner
A Certificate III in Light Vehicle Mechanical Technology (or equivalent)
A current full manual Australian Driver’s Licence (Class C or above)
Your daily duties will include:
General mechanical repairs
Vehicle servicing
Engine management diagnostics
Brake and suspension work on passenger, light commercial, and 4WD vehicles
Limited tyre fitting
Wheel alignments
