Assistant Commissioner, Revenue Analysis - SES Band 1
We are seeking an experienced and highly respected senior leader with a mix of tax policy, data, economic, financial, and/or government relations skills to take on the role of Assistant Commissioner, Revenue Analysis .
As the Assistant Commissioner, Revenue Analysis, you will be responsible for leading a team of dedicated policy and data specialists.
You will be required to understand policy agendas impacting the tax system and ensure the implications of policy or legislative change on tax revenue bases are understood and clearly communicated. You will maintain strong relationships across the ATO, the APS, and the academic and research communities.
You will work with a range of internal and external partners to:
* Analyze and interpret revenue data and trends
* Develop and implement policy strategies
* Collaborate with stakeholders to enhance revenue collection and compliance
This role may be offered on an ongoing or non-ongoing basis in Canberra. A merit pool may be formed and used to fill future similar vacancies in these locations and other locations within the same metropolitan area.
