Dental Practice Receptionist
We are seeking a full-time Dental Practice Receptionist to join our team at Launceston Dental (7 Dowling St.) and/or Braeside Dental (52 York St.) in Launceston, Tasmania.
As the first point of contact for our valued patients, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth running of our dental practice.
What you'll be doing
Providing exceptional customer service to patients, both in person and over the phone
Managing patient bookings and appointments with efficiency and attention to detail
Handling patient inquiries and addressing any concerns or questions in a professional and empathetic manner
Maintaining accurate and up-to-date patient records and files
Assisting with administrative tasks such as billing, insurance claims, and inventory management
Supporting the dental team by performing various clerical and organizational duties as required
What we're looking for
Prior experience as a receptionist or customer service professional, preferably in a healthcare or dental practice setting (preferred not mandatory)
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact with patients of all backgrounds in a warm and friendly manner
Strong organizational and multitasking abilities, with a keen eye for detail
Proficiency in using various office software, including appointment scheduling and patient management systems (training will be provided)
A genuine interest in the healthcare industry and a commitment to providing high-quality patient care
A positive, team-oriented attitude and the ability to work collaboratively with the dental team
