Reporting to a Director, the role of Loss Adjuster, Senior Adjuster or Executive Adjuster is dynamic, fast paced and diverse which will see you work directly with our national team.
By joining our team, you will work with a highly experienced and customer centric team supporting rapidly growing strata, commercial, industrial and agricultural insurance clients. You will be responsible for site visit inspections, insurance claim reporting, third party maintenance and specialist companies (e.g. builders, hygienist, engineers, building restorers & individual trades) through to final outcomes to close out the claims formally.
Due to our continued expansion, we have additional positions available in Sydney and Melbourne.
You will thrive in this environment where you can work from home and/or in an office environment, be empowered to work normal core working hours. Juggling family/home/personal matters is fully supported. We will offer you a full at home IT set-up with a laptop, monitor, keyboard and mobile phone plus if you need support with any ergonomic equipment that can be discussed as well.
Our team are spread across Australia with colleagues in all states with our central base being Brisbane – so Astute Adjusting offer great working flexibility!
About You
If you are looking to build upon your current insurance loss adjusting skills within a hands-on supportive team, then this position is for you!
To be successful you will have;
Experience in Loss Adjusting within the Insurance Industry, with General Property experience.
Strong computer literacy in MS Office Word, Excel, Email with excellent written & verbal communication skills.
Excellent interpersonal skills including a positive “can-do” attitude, strong teamwork spirit and work ethic
Demonstrated ability to be self-motivated, self-starter, strong attention to detail and happy to work autonomous and within a team environment.
Natural ability to prioritise tasks “on the fly” to support our clients.
