Health, Safety and Environmental Specialist
A vital role in creating thriving communities in isolated locations by contributing to the productivity of the resources sector. As a Health, Safety and Environmental Specialist, you will play a key part in our operations.
The Key Responsibilities:
* Fly-In/Out of Darwin, Brisbane or Perth
* Typically, 2 week on 2 week off roster working 12-hour days
* Provide specialist advice to facilitate compliance with our Quality, Health, Safety and Environment Management System
* Conduct risk assessments & development of procedures
* Lead incident investigations and implement processes to ensure incidents are reported and investigations completed
* Support Return to Work Processes
* Conduct daily, weekly monthly quarterly and annual audits
* Ensure compliance with all legal and company requirements
* Drive regular and sustainable improvement in safety performance
Requirements:
* Degree/Diploma or minimum Certificate IV Work Health and Safety
* Qualifications in ICAM investigations along with root cause analysis competencies (preferred)
* Minimum of two years of experience in Health and Safety, Environmental, Health or similar
* Driver's licence (Essential)
* Food safety handling or supervisory experience desirable
* Previous site-based HSEQ experience highly regarded
* Experience in managing multiple stakeholder relationships, effectively bringing people along the site safety journey
* Well-developed skills in communication with ability to coach and influence key stakeholders
* Demonstrated experience in risk assessments
