What you'll do?
The Team Coordinator- University Services plays a crucial role in overseeing the deployment teams at RMIT. They will be expected to foster the team towards a common goal and are expected to create, update and maintain the body of documentation at both universities. It also includes attending meetings weekly with our clients, report back to the Service Delivery Manager on a day-to-day basis and develop workflows and new processes as required to update our way of working.
* Lead, manage and co-ordinate the Deployment Technician Teams daily activities. This includes providingongoing advice, training, and development to ensure effective and efficient delivery of deployment services.
* Act as the first point of escalation for our customer and the onsite team, takingownership of escalation issues and expedite the resolution process.
* Develop and implement Service Improvement Plans to address any areas where the team performance is identified as inadequate and needs improvement, which includes documentation of procedures and process.
* Performance management and target setting of key performance indicators (KPI) for individual team members. Including setting clear and achievable objectives for staff and monitoring results.
* Support the long-term commercial viability of the team by ensuring the team operate within compliance and legislative frameworks and identifying and mitigating risk.
* Generate scheduled Weekly and Monthly Operational Reports to Management, as well as ad hoc reporting where required.
What you'll bring?
* Previous experience working in a team lead role.
* Proven experience with the Microsoft Office Suite and ability to use reporting tools.
* Good understanding of how universities operate and highereducation in general.
* Genuine care for building overall staff working capacity and ability to mentor, support and guide technicians.
* Excellent customer service and communication skills,with the ability to manage customer issues and escalations.
What else do you need to apply?
* Travel on-site to our office in Notting Hill and travel frequently to client sites.
* Must be an Australian resident available to work full time without restrictions
