About the Role
We are seeking a reliable and skilled Machine Operator to join our Demolition and Civil Operations Team in WA. In this role, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of machinery to support daily production requirements while maintaining high standards of quality and workplace safety.
What You Will Do
* Operate Excavators fitted with Hydraulic Shears, Hydraulic Breakers, Grapples, Magnets and Standard Buckets
* Civils Works – Breaking Concrete, removing Foundations, Bulk Earthworks, Backfilling the Area with the required Material and Levelling the Area
* Demolition – Demolish Low Level Buildings and Process Felled Structures
* Scrap Handling - Sort, Process and Load Trucks with Scrap Metal and Recyclable Materials
* Maintain the piece of Plant/Equipment you are using
* Work to high Safety and Environmental Standards at all times
* Work independently and collaboratively within a small Team
* Current Driving License
* Excavator Operating Experience
* Current White Card
* Experience on Major Civil Projects
* Strong commitment to Safety, Teamwork, and Professional Conduct
* Clear and Effective Communication Skills
* Demonstrated ability to follow instructions while working with minimal supervision
* Proven ability to work effectively both independently and within a team environment
* Consistent commitment to maintaining high standards without direct supervision
* Ability to pass Pre-Employment Medical and ongoing Drug & Alcohol Testing
* Willingness to Work Away and undertake additional Hours as required
* Strong understanding of Safety Procedures and Safe Work Practices
* Good attention to Detail and Problem-Solving Skills
* Reliable, Punctual, and Team-Oriented
Highly Regarded
* Demolition Experience (Advantageous)
