At Stenhouse Lifting, you'll be working on a wide range of lifting and safety equipment, ensuring it's maintained, repaired, and compliant to the highest standards. Your Role Will Include:
* Attending client sites and inspecting and testing lifting and height safety gear
* Manufacturing chain and wire rope slings
* Operating lifting and handling equipment (some manual lifting required)
* Completing job data entry and inspection reports using tablets or computers
* Operating machinery such as overhead cranes and forklifts
* Participating in ongoing training and industry certifications
What You'll Bring:
* Experience in a physical, hands-on role in a heavy industry setting (experience in lifting/rigging/height safety will be highly regarded)
* Mechanically minded
* Comfortable using tablets and technology-based systems for job management
* Strong attention to detail and time management
* Good communication skills and a strong work ethic
* Committed to workplace safety
* Able to learn and apply knowledge practically
* Willing to travel overnight for work if required
* Current driver's licence
* Physically fit for work in a physical role and capable of regularly lifting up to 20kg
* The right to work permanently in Australia
