About The Role
We are seeking an experienced Finance Manager to join our Corporate Finance team, reporting directly to the GM Finance Corporate. This is a full‐time position based at North Ryde, offering the flexibility of hybrid working.
In this key leadership role, you will oversee the delivery of high‐quality external and internal financial reporting for the Group. You'll lead a dedicated reporting team, ensure compliance with Australian accounting standards, manage critical audit and governance processes, and provide technical accounting expertise across the business. You'll also play a pivotal role in transformation initiatives, process improvement, and supporting strategic finance projects across the Group.
* Lead and deliver accurate, compliant year‐end financial reporting, including full financial statement preparation and review.
* Oversee monthly reporting, including month‐end close, Group reporting, balance sheet reconciliations, and ensuring data integrity across group ledgers.
* Manage relationships with external auditors and coordinate internal finance teams to meet all reporting deadlines.
* Provide technical accounting expertise, supporting executives and business units on complex transactions, acquisitions, disposals, and new business activities.
* Lead finance input into transformation initiatives, including budgeting, five‐year planning, SteerCo reporting, and benefits/costs tracking.
* Drive process improvement and standardisation, leveraging technology to enhance reporting efficiency and accuracy.
* Lead, coach and develop finance team members, overseeing management reporting, treasury support, and compliance with WHSE responsibilities.
What You Bring To The Role
* Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA/CPA) with proven experience in a Big 4 audit environment (desired)
* 10+ years of hands‐on accounting experience at a large entity
* Demonstrated capability in preparing statutory financial statements
* Strong background in auditing medium to large entities, with a clear understanding of compliance and regulatory standards
* Exceptional technical accounting knowledge, with the ability to interpret and apply accounting standards confidently
* Proficiency with SAP or major ERP systems, with the ability to streamline processes and enhance reporting accuracy
* Advanced Excel skills, including complex formulas, data analysis, and financial modelling
